We're Hiring: System Architect – SDR & Waveform Design (Satellite/Wireless Communications)

As a System Architect, you'll lead the design and integration of advanced SDR-based modem solutions, shaping the performance and resilience of mission-critical communication networks. Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of advanced waveforms for SDR modems in satellite and wireless communication environments.
- Design and optimize modulation, signal processing, and error correction algorithms to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate waveforms into SDR platforms, focusing on throughput, latency, and spectral efficiency.
- Architect systems for diverse network topologies including Mesh, Star, and SCPC, tailored to satellite and wireless networks.
- Conduct simulations, lab validation, and field testing to ensure robust performance across real-world channel conditions.
- Stay current with emerging communication technologies (e.g., 5G/6G, massive MIMO, beamforming) and apply them to system-level designs.
- Document architecture, algorithms, and integration processes, and provide technical guidance across engineering teams.
Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in waveform and signal processing design for SDR systems, with a focus on satellite and wireless communications.
- Deep understanding of modulation schemes, pulse shaping, error correction (e.g., LDPC, Turbo codes), and interference mitigation.
- Proven experience designing and deploying SDR modems using platforms such as GNU Radio, MATLAB, or Simulink.
- Strong knowledge of satellite systems (LEO/MEO/GEO) and wireless communication standards (LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with communication network architectures and the impact of topologies on system performance.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python; experience with SDR and RF signal processing pipelines.
