Role: Senior Quality Engineer / Coordinator
Location: Teesside / Initial Paris

General
- Supporting all aspects of Quality across the breadth of the project organization.
- Identification and regular engagement with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
- Support the effective planning of quality across the full scope of services under the project. This shall include the allocation of quality inspection resources.
- Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of quality systems across the contractor organization (e.g., NCR, improvements, lessons learned, etc).
- Supporting the planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
- Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to quality managers/leads, and undertaking intervention as required.
- Supporting effective supply chain management to ensure the right first-time delivery of products and services.
- Participate in mark up of inspection test plans.
- Coordination of inspection activities.
- Coordinate IRN process.
- Raise inspection assignments as per identified inspection points marked in ITP.
- Liaise with approved inspection agencies for suitable qualified, experienced inspector.
- Liaise with Discipline Engineers regarding inspection / expediting activities.
- Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation.
- Fully committed to Project ethical values and to achieve Project expectations and goals, which shall include a proactive approach with other project department to achieve these goals.
Qualification and knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001.
- Proficient in the analysis of processes and data.
- Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- QC Coordinator experience required.
- Previous experience in QC inspection desirable.
- High Level of communication skills in both written and spoken format.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft programmes.
General coordination duties description
Senior Quality Advisor/ Coordinator shall in general be responsible for monitoring performance of Quality Control matters. Main tasks include:
- Attend PIM meetings at supplier premise.
- Familiar with tier one contractor procurement activities.
- Liaise with Contractor vender performance management team to align inspection activities.
- Receive, review, analyse, file, distribute inspection reports as appropriate.
- Ensure competence and appropriate relevant qualified inspector.
- Review inspection reports for compliance performance and acceptance.
- Liaise with Engineering team for ITP review, FAT attendance, related issues/ concerns.
- Ensure manufacture record book is completed, reviewed, endorsed, and appropriately saved in agreed storage location.
- Feedback into supplier performance evaluation.
