Senior Network & Security Support Specialist | Dubai, UAE
Are you a seasoned network and security expert ready to take on complex technical challenges? We’re hiring a Senior Network & Security Support Specialist to join a high-impact team supporting enterprise clients across the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for critical incidents and advanced change requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and cloud networking.
- Lead advanced configurations and security hardening tasks across Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point environments.
- Collaborate with vendors (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.) for escalations, firmware issues, and design improvements.
- Conduct health checks, performance reviews, and security assessments for enterprise networks.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with change management processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency support.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in network and security support.
- Strong expertise in Cisco technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, SD-WAN, DNA Assurance).
- Proficiency with security platforms: Cisco FTD, ISE, Secure Endpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, OCI).
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, PCNSE, NSE are highly desirable.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
