Are you a Procurement Manager with direct procurement experience within Telecommunications (equipment / hardware / manufacturing) and translating technical business requirements into contract documents (draft schedules, work packages, statement of works)?

You will be able to draft and negotiate contracts through its the full lifecycle (end-to-end) whilst collaborating with the legal team in relation to proposed contract changes.

This is a permanent opportunity based in London (hybrid-working) and previous telecommunications experience is mandatory.


The Mission:

  • Enhance operational effectiveness and cost efficiencies, anticipate and adapt to forward-looking business models.
  • Source globally available standard products and services, oversee supplier relationships for cross-company agreements, including tasks such as ensuring compliance with contractual terms, handling renewals, identifying new opportunities for improved efficiency, and supporting clients in executing critical initiatives.
  • Oversee the full procurement lifecycle (end-to-end).
  • Meet or exceed annual cost-saving objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization’s procurement and revenue-generating strategies.
  • Manage the complete procurement cycle, including supplier evaluation, issuance of RFPs, proposal assessment, contract drafting and negotiation, contract finalization, and ongoing management.
  • Assist stakeholders in addressing their procurement needs, from identifying business requirements to finalizing contracts.
  • Lead pricing and commercial discussions with suppliers to secure optimal value while meeting required service standards.
  • Build, streamline, and oversee strategic relationships with key/preferred suppliers.
  • Maintain and manage a contract renewal calendar to ensure timely reviews with stakeholders and suppliers.


Experience:

  • Over 3 years of relevant experience with major telecommunications companies.
  • Strong background in telecom/IT procurement, ideally with a focus on digital products and agreements.
  • Extensive experience managing comprehensive procurement processes from start to finish.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution.
  • Proficient in supplier and stakeholder relationship management.
