Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Prepare, analyse and deliver monthly consolidated management accounts, including bank reconciliations, journals for prepayments, depreciation and accruals and variance analysis, ensuring timely delivery to senior management.
  • Compile and analyse payroll data for company employees, including running payroll for The Cut Gym and processing salary payments at a group level in a multi-currency environment. Ensure timely submission of pension contributions.
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns across the group by calculating multi-currency transactions and ensuring compliance with government guidelines through Making Tax Digital (MTD) and related software.
  • Produce and analyse overseas VAT reports and send to relevant foreign accountants.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle annual calculations, submissions, and payments group benefits in kind.
  • Report accurately on Monthly NFI by collating data on revenue and associated costs, monthly commissions and splits across different entities.
  • Monitor daily cash position and forecast short-term cash needs. Liaise with banking partners to facilitate funding arrangements, negotiate terms, and manage banking operations.
  • Coordinate and assist with annual external audits, including audits for foreign entities.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of invoice finance, providing detailed analysis of ledger activity to meet bank KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
