Lead Engineer - WebCenter & Digital Apps
Location: Dubai
Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)


We are now looking for an E-Biz Application Support/Web Centre Site Expert. This role involves leading the team, performing hands-on technical tasks, mentoring, monitoring, coordinating, supporting, managing, and executing reactive maintenance activities. The goal is to ensure continuous availability and optimal performance of services provided to customers, in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the performance and stability of the production system.
• Evaluate daily performance and report any issues to the performance teams.
• Manage escalations related to performance issues.
• Conduct daily governance meetings with the team on application performance and processes.
• Address and resolve issues, including development/design defects and product issues, in coordination with third-party vendors. Perform L2 analysis by examining system logs, databases, heap dumps, thread dumps, and PCAP files to identify IT and network defects.
• Lead end-to-end investigations with third-party vendors.
• Report defect statuses through detailed reports.
• Oversee incident management, ensuring the end-to-end resolution of any E-business/Digital channel-related incidents.
• Collaborate with the Incident Management team to resolve issues.
• Review designs, validate test cases, and deploy change requests (CRs) in production environments.
• Maintain production integrity by resolving post-deployment issues.
• Deploy application patches, review and fix security vulnerabilities, support PCI/DSS compliance, and manage certificates


Requirements:

• Graduate in Computer Science or similar

• Experience: 6-12 years into Oracle WebCenter sites & WebLogic Application Server

• Minimum 3-5 years of team leader experience ( 5 to 10 resources )

• Sound understanding on Mobile Application generic & Technical architecture including business & payment flows.

• Should include understanding on instant messaging and presence (IMP)
