Summary:
Manage, coordinate, and oversee occupational health and hygiene programs for the employees through preventive initiatives, with the goal of maintaining and improving employees’ physical health and well-being, and preventing occupational illnesses, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Main Functions / Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the Medical Services Department.
 - Coordinate shifts, schedules, and activities of Medical Services team members.
 - Manage (procurement and maintenance) the inventory of medications and medical supplies.
 - Administer and monitor employee medical leaves, both through the IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute) and internal processes.
 - Serve as a backup in case any Medical Services team member is absent.
 - Conduct investigations of workplace accidents.
 - Prepare reports and statistics, maintain up-to-date employee medical records and databases
 - Coordinate various health campaigns and the annual periodic medical evaluation program.
 
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Medicine, with a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a completed Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene or a related field in Safety and/or Risk Management.
 - English: intermediate level is required.
