?? About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Financial Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with Mexican tax regulations and internal policies. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical abilities, experience in full-cycle accounting, and a proactive approach to financial management in a multicultural environment.
?? Key Responsibilities
Sales & Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage the full cycle from order receipt to invoicing, collections, and AR reporting
- Oversee customer file setup, credit control, and payment monitoring
- Ensure accurate invoicing using CONTPAQi Commercial Premium
Expenses, Purchases & Accounts Payable (AP)
- Review and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and employee expense claims
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and AP reconciliations
- Ensure timely vendor payments and proper cash flow planning
Fixed Assets
- Maintain the fixed asset register and monthly depreciation entries
Monthly Tax Filing & Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings
- Respond to inquiries or audits from SAT and other authorities
- Ensure full compliance with Mexican tax laws
Internal Controls
- Design and optimize internal control processes
- Ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations
Financial Statements & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial statements and perform analytical reviews
External Audit & Tax Compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual filings
Ad Hoc Assignments
- Support special projects and requests from local or HQ finance teams
? Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Proficiency in CONTPAQi Commercial Premium
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both are working languages)
- Strong understanding of Mexican tax laws and statutory reporting
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus
- Experience in multicultural or international environments is an asset
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
