Senior Leader – Data Centre Development
Location: Finland
A global digital infrastructure firm is embarking on a major expansion in Northern Europe and is seeking an accomplished project leader to oversee the full lifecycle of a large-scale, hyperscale-standard data centre development in Finland.
This is a rare opportunity to join an international team at a pivotal moment, leading a landmark development from early design through to construction, commissioning, and operational handover.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of a major data centre project in Finland
- Overseeing the localization of global design standards to meet Nordic regulatory and environmental requirements
- Acting as the key point of coordination between international HQ teams and local contractors, authorities, and stakeholders
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and compliance with EU sustainability and safety standards
- Building and managing relationships with EPC partners, regulators, and utility providers
- Ensuring that final delivery meets world-class technical and operational standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 15+ years’ experience in large-scale data centre or critical infrastructure builds, with leadership responsibility in Europe
- Strong technical knowledge of civil, MEP, and architectural elements of data centre construction
- Proven track record of delivering complex datacentre developments on time and to specification
- Engineering, Construction, or Architecture background; advanced qualifications (e.g. PMP, MBA) a plus
