### Role Overview
We are seeking a **Data Centre Lead Architect** to drive the architectural direction and spatial strategy for a growing portfolio of critical infrastructure projects. This role is integral to the business development process, providing high-level master planning and compelling visual presentations to support client engagements and proposals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating complex mechanical, electrical, and IT systems into functional, code-compliant building designs. This includes leading the aesthetic direction of facilities—covering branding, material selection, and overall design language—while facilitating collaborative workshops with clients and internal stakeholders.

### Key Responsibilities
**Concept Development & Client Engagement**
- Create site master plans, building layouts, and high-quality visual materials to support proposal development
- Work closely with commercial teams to articulate the design and functional strengths of proposed sites
**Design & Space Optimisation**
- Lead building envelope design, internal logistics, and vertical transportation planning
- Conduct space efficiency studies, gross floor area analysis, and site impact assessments
- Provide foundational civil and structural input to support early-stage cost planning
**Cross-Discipline Integration**
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering leads to ensure cohesive technical solutions
- Engage with internal teams to understand operational, aesthetic, and documentation requirements
- Partner with product development and procurement teams on modular integration and material selection
**Project Oversight & Quality Assurance**
- Support project delivery teams in resolving architectural challenges during construction
- Review documentation from local design partners to ensure alignment with project standards
- Evaluate vendor samples, finishes, and material submissions
**Standards Development**
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design standards, including visual identity, signage, and workplace aesthetics
**Planning & Budget Support**
- Assist in developing phased delivery plans and high-level cost estimates for architectural and civil scopes

### Candidate Profile
**Education**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
**Experience**
- Minimum 8 years of architectural experience
- Background in industrial, mission-critical, or technically complex facilities is highly valued
**Licensing**
- Must hold professional registration with a recognised architectural body (e.g., AIA, RIBA, BOA Singapore, HKIA)
**Technical Proficiency**
- Advanced skills in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and InDesign
- Strong visual communication skills, including rendering and presentation graphics
**Cross-Disciplinary Awareness**
- Sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and operational requirements in complex building environments
**Language Skills**
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Chinese is highly advantageous for regional coordination
- Additional languages are a plus
