Data Center Presales Engineer
Our client, a major player in the telecom and technology sector, is looking for a talented Lead Engineer to drive the success of complex data center integration projects in Saudi Arabia. If you have a passion for designing, estimating, and leading high-stakes data center projects — from presales to delivery — this role could be your next big move.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design and planning of cutting-edge data centers, working closely with specialist teams to produce high-level solutions and accurate BOQs.
- Analyze project costs, estimate resource requirements, and help procurement secure competitive pricing to ensure the best value.
- Oversee the execution of awarded projects, coordinating technical teams, anticipating risks, and ensuring everything runs on time and within budget.
- Guide and mentor engineers on your team, championing excellence in quality, safety, and performance.
- Play an active role in presales — preparing proposals, responding to RFQs, and helping secure key projects.
What we're looking for:
- A degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related engineering field (power distribution, HVAC, or low current systems).
- Solid working experience on data center facility projects — with exposure to presales or bidding a strong advantage.
- Strong technical understanding of data center infrastructure: power, cooling, and weak current systems.
- Proven leadership skills, with a proactive approach to managing teams and complex technical challenges.
- Solid communication skills in English, plus the ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Energetic, resilient, and excited to take on responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
