We’re seeking an expert-level Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our security posture, drive advanced threat-defense initiatives, and support secure SDLC practices across our non-production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cybersecurity across products, services, infrastructure, and applications in CQE non-prod SDLC environments.
- Lead ethical hacking, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop test plans, TTPs, detection rules, dashboards, and automated SOAR workflows.
- Prepare clear technical reports outlining findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
- Manage vulnerability lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams on remediation.
- Conduct risk assessments, security audits, incident response, and log analysis.
- Contribute to innovation, PoCs, research, and cybersecurity strategy.
- Mentor team members and help elevate cybersecurity practices across the organization.
- Maintain accurate documentation, policies, and security guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (network, cloud, or application security).
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO standards, ethical hacking, and vulnerability exploitation.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, Splunk, Kusto, CRIBL, Palo Alto XSIAM.
- CISSP or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with cloud security, ML/AI-based detection is a plus.
Skills
- Advanced ethical hacking & penetration testing (manual + automated).
- Proficiency with tools: Nessus, OpenVAS, Metasploit, Burp Suite, ZAP, Kali, Postman, SoapUI, packet analyzers.
- Strong understanding of OS internals, networking, secure coding, and web app security (OWASP).
- Ability to script using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and continuous learning mindset.
