Role Overview
We are seeking a senior professional to spearhead the software solutions business in South Africa. This is a leadership role responsible for driving growth across all dimensions of the business — from revenue and market share expansion to partner engagement and execution excellence. The successful candidate will be a highly visible figure within the South African technology channel ecosystem, known for their strong CXO-level relationships and ability to shape business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement growth strategies that align with regional objectives and vendor priorities.
 - Channel Engagement: Build, strengthen, and leverage relationships with key partners, using senior-level networks to accelerate business momentum.
 - Vendor Collaboration: Partner with vendor stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliver impactful joint initiatives.
 - Performance Management: Track and manage core business metrics including revenue growth, market share, partner coverage, and brand visibility.
 - Market Development: Identify and seize opportunities to expand presence in South Africa through new partnerships, programs, and initiatives.
 - Operational Excellence: Oversee seamless execution of processes including forecasting, reporting, and partner enablement.
 - Team Leadership: Guide and support team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
 
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 8–10 years in IT distribution, vendor/channel management, or business leadership.
 - Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver growth across multiple product lines.
 - Industry Recognition: Established reputation in the South African channel ecosystem with strong CXO-level networks.
 - Strategic Thinking: Capable of turning market insights into actionable strategies.
 - Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related discipline (MBA advantageous).
 - Experience working with global software, cloud, or cybersecurity vendors.
 - Familiarity with SADC channel dynamics is an added advantage.
