First Point Group is working with a leading Cloud Tech Company based in the Middle East and is supporting them in their search for a Business Development Manager to join their Sales team in Dubai.
About the Role:
You'll develop a plan to increase awareness and usage of the companies services in Finance, Media, Entertainment, and Tech Companies. As the main contact for clients, you'll represent the Client, discuss technical issues and solutions with senior staff, and advise on best practices and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the customer experience: Embrace a business owner mindset to become a single point of contact for our key accounts. You'll be responsible for understanding their unique challenges, advocating for their requirements, and ensuring their success.
- Forge strong relationships: Collaborate with IT Directors and C-Level executives to gain a deep understanding of customer needs. Build trust and become a valued advisor, representing Alibaba Cloud with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Become a cloud architect: Work hand-in-hand with our architect team to identify opportunities for customers to leverage company offerings and optimize their IT infrastructure.
- Drive success: Collaborate with TAMs and service teams to ensure exceptional customer service. Proactively identify and escalate issues, and provide regular performance updates to customer leadership.
- Fuel cloud adoption: Develop strategies to increase cloud consumption while delivering real value to our customers
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years experience selling Enterprise IT Solutions into Corporate IT Stakeholders across the UAE
- Ideally has UAE local IaaS selling experience in an Enterprise Customer-facing role (Technical or Business Lead) with the proven ability to grow existing customer relationships
- Familiarity with Cloud and Hybrid Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Alibaba Cloud and VMware
- Strong hunting mentality (role will be 80% Hunting / 20% Farming)
- Has increased cloud consumption into the Financial Services, Media, Entertainment, and Internet Platform / Technology verticals
- Arabic speaking is highly desirable
